Lloyd Street Fair 2024

Excitement is in the air as we gear up for our much-anticipated 2024 Lloyd Street Community Fair! 

On Saturday 26th October we come together for a celebration of our vibrant community; the event promises to showcase our cultures, talents, and interests that make our school community truly exceptional.

Expect: thrilling rides, food stalls to satisfy any craving, silent auction and epic raffle, pre-loved goods stalls, a variety of activities and entertainment. 

Funds raised at this year’s Fair will go towards further redevelopment of the play area on the lower level of the school grounds. Plans for this area will be finalised following extensive consultation with Lloyd Street Primary students and staff and local community.

Cashless Event

The Lloyd Street Fair will again be a cashless event, with payment methods on the day including EFTPOS at each stall, as well as Tokens and Ride Passes. 

6 MASSIVE RIDES will be in action at the Fair!

Our Fair offers something for all ages, so come along and enjoy a great day out with the whole family. The Ride Wristband is excellent value, providing you with unlimited ride access.

Important Notes:

• Rides are open from 10:30am – 4:30pm
• Ride wristband passes can not be used for the Dunk Tank activity.
• Tickets are non-refundable.

All day ride wristbands, Ride Tickets and Tokens (to be used in place of cash) will all be available at the Fair.

Ride Wristbands will be $45 each on the day.

Silent Auction

Run on 32 Auctions, there are a variety of amazing items up for grabs including restaurant and dining experiences, Australian Open tickets, annual movie passes, hampers, signed sporting memorabilia, health, beauty and home items, and much, much more.

Raffle Tickets available now

This year’s Raffle is completely online, and we have five fantastic raffle prizes up for grabs. 

• 1st prize - Value $1,000: Piccoli Portraits experience, including bespoke portrait session and beautifully boxed portrait printed on fine art paper.
• 2nd prize - Value $626: Grounded Movement Pilates consultation and 10 group classes.
• 3rd prize - Value $600: Chadstone Hotel, one night Indulgence package with superior room upgrade and late check out.
• 4th prize - Value $238 Fine wine package. 6 bottles of Latitude Sauvignon Blanc 2022 and 6 bottles of Rochford Merlot 2022.
• 5th prize - Value $145 Cocktail set and shaker donated by Little Miss Audrey.

Student Art Exhibition

Students are working hard on their pieces for the Fair's Student Art Exhibition.

Every student will have an artwork on display in the Exhibition which will be located in the Music Room and Gym.

They have taken inspiration from the Fair logo and colours, and the theme is food.

It’s sure to be a vibrant exhibition to explore!

Sensory Break Space

Lloyd Street’s Wellbeing Team will be running a Sensory Break Space at this year’s Fair. Staff and student leaders will be offering quiet activities in the school’s Zen Den from 1pm - 4pm.

Parents or carers will need to supervise their children in this quiet space. 

Getting to the Fair

Driving: There is lots of free parking available near the school. Please follow parking regulations and be considerate of our neighbours. If possible please park a block or two away from the school to reduce traffic in the immediate Fair area.

Tram: Route 3. Lloyd Street is a 5 minute walk from Stop 64 on Waverley Road.

Train: Lloyd Street is a 5 minute walk from Darling Station or 10 minute walk from Caulfield Station

Safety & Child Supervision

Discuss safety with your children, and please them know that if they get separated from you, the Info Booths are the best place to go... also if you happen to come across a lost child at the Fair, please take them over to the Information Booth.

Children should still be supervised at all times by their parent or carer.

2024 Fair T-shirts - By now you will have seen many students wearing their 2024 Fair T-Shirts! A limited number are still available to purchase at the uniform shop for $25. Please email the office: lloyd.street.ps@education.vic.gov.au to check that your size is still available, and pay for t-shirts at the office. It’s a case of first in, best dressed, so hurry and get yours before they’re all gone!

Lloyd Street Aprons  - very useful for anyone helping at the Fair and identifying yourself as a part of the Lloyd Street school community! Purchase via QKR.
