Lloyd Street School is an inclusive school that welcomes new students into our community. Prospective students and parents are welcome to attend a school tour (approx. 45 min) with John Painter (Principal) or Roshni Amaria (Vice Principal). To offer varied perspectives, students (and occasionally a parent School Councillor) joins tours where you will see the school's facilities and can ask questions along the way.
Tour bookings are essential as we only take small groups and see classrooms in action.
Upon arrival at the Lloyd Street entrance, please wait at reception a few minutes prior to 9:15 am.

Foundation (Prep) enrolments
All Victorian government primary schools follow the statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline.

Our school uses the Department of Education’s secure digital enrolment system called VicStudents.
The Foundation (Prep) Enrolment Information Pack for Parents and Carers provides detailed information about enrolling your child into Foundation (Prep) for the 2027 school year.
This pack includes a copy of the enrolment timeline and Frequently Asked Questions. It also includes an application form.
This means you can submit your Foundation (Prep) application online and receive updates through the system.
If you have any questions about the online enrolment process, please contact our school. Paper enrolment application forms are also available on request.
Other year level enrolments
We also accept enrolment applications for students in other year levels. You can submit a request at any time in the school year.
Eligible students who live within our school zone are guaranteed a place, while students outside the zone may be enrolled if there are available places.

Our School Zone
Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au. This site hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones.
Students residing in this zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.
The Department provides guidance through the School Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations.
